This soldier born September 9, 1745. Died December 11, 1834. Married Susanna La Grange in 1777, who died February 26, 1838, aged 83 years. In 1809, he was supervisor of the town of Guilderland and later fence viewer and excise commissioner. Husband and wife buried here. (Emmett Gray Farm Cemetery) Gray served in the Revolution from New Jersey, one of five brothers to enlist."
