Cornelia W. Flowers, 71, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 7, 1994. God called an angel home today. She is survived by her husband, Cornelius D. Flowers; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel W. and Joyce Geary, Hardy; daughter, Kathy Ann Ferguson, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Cindy Rowland, Donna Geary, Wesley Geary; also one great-granddaughter; a sister, Genevieve Cox, Smith Mountain Lake; three brothers, Marshall Gish, Roanoke, Edsel Gish, Smith Mountain Lake, Glenwood Gish, Roanoke; also four stepchildren, Teresa Ann Simmons, Roanoke, Dickie Flowers, Roanoke, Gordon Flowers, Snow Creek, C. D. Flowers, Jr., Wichita Falls, Texas.; there are several stepgreat-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two special friends, Eliene Ensor, Janice Giles. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 1 p.m. Thursd ay, November 10, 1994 with the Rev. W. Michael Barnes and the Rev. John Wallace, officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
