Born Montella PA, survived by wife Betty, 3 children Les & John Witwer, & Julia Ann West, 9 grandchildren & 21 great grandchildren. Internment Aug 5th at 2:45 Tahoma Nat'l Cemetery. Full life story www.lewischapel.com.


Richard "Dick" Witwer graduated from Shillington High, PA in 1950, joined the Navy serving in the Korean War from 1950-1954 on Aircraft Carrier USS Bataan. In 1954 he settled in Bremerton, working for many years in area grocery stores as clerk and manager. He enjoyed working in the grocery business meeting many great people. Dick and his wife Betty retired in 1985 traveling across the US for 14 months enjoying seeing new places and meeting new friends. They wintered in Yuma for three years before returning to the Bremerton area.

The family and many friends will miss him and his quick wit and love of good fun.
