LITERBERRY: Howard Henry Goodey, 69, of Literberry, died Thursday, February 20, 2003, at Prairie Village Health Care Center.
He was born August 9, 1933, in Havana, IL, the son of Charles Goodey Jr. and Martha Koke Goodey Bedwell.
He married Marilyn Henderson. He later married Linda Guthrie in 2001 in La Belle, MO.
Mr. Goodey was a graduate of Jacksonville High School and worked in construction.
Survivors: wife, Linda; three sons, Robert (wife, Valerie) of Jacksonville, Stephen (wife, Belinda) of Bloomington and Michael (wife, Cindy)of Murrayville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a half sister, Paula (husband, John D.) Brockhouse of Murrayville; a stepsister, Sherry (husband, Carl) Elmore of Jacksonville; a stepbrother, William (wife, Ursula) Sumpter of Jacksonville; many nieces and nephews; two stepdaughters, Eva (husband, Steve) Collins of Gridley and Jean (husband, Bob) Norton of Waverly; two stepsons, Mike (wife, Barb) Guthrie of Jacksonville and Fred Guthrie of Virginia; and 10 stepgrandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Cody and Son Memorial Home in Jacksonville.
