Dec. 30, 1921 - Nov. 18, 2014 Charles William Kissell was born to Clarence and Margaret Traylor Kissell in Cañon City, Colorado.

He spent his early years exploring the hills around Greenwood, Colorado. Enlisted in the Army during World War II, and after discharge, enlisted in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1961 after twenty years of combined service. While in the Air Force, he married Betty Jean Walker in 1947. Together they raised four children. After retiring from the Air Force, he went to work for the Mukilteo School District and retired after twenty-four years, in 1985.

Charles was a loyal member of the Masonic Order for over fifty years. He was a member of the South Pueblo Lodge No 31, Alpha Lodge 212 and Valley of Everett Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Everett Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Margaret Ballantine, Clara Downer, and Louise Shake and his eldest son, Charles. Charles is survived by Betty, his wife of 68 years; daughter, Rebecca Bressler (Rick); sons, Russell (Valerie,) and Gregory. grandchildren: Tanya Kuest (Dave,) Brandon Wicken, Kortney Christian (Jason), and Nickolas Kissell; great grandchildren: Andrea, Zachary, Nathan and Ella Kuest and Chloe Christian.
