Ivan C. Collins, 86, of Vero Beach, died Monday at Indian River Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 13, 1892 in Kokomo, Indiana., the son of John Edward and Martha Anne ( Nash) Collins. He moved to Vero Beach 20 years ago from La Porte, Indiana.
He was a member of Vero Beach First Methodist Church, WW I vet, member of Masonic Lodge 250 F & AM, Order of Eastern Star, chapter 135 and Order of Scottish Rites.
Funeral services were held 8pm Wednesday at Cox-Gifford-Baldwin Chapel with Rev. Delmas M. Copeland, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating.
Burial followed at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Vera of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Austin and Mrs. Dona Andrey; four grandchildren.
