Loyd was a World War II Veteran who fought through the Normandy Invasion of Europe, Belgium, and Germany receiving five bronze stars for his service to his county.
Preceded in death by: Grandson, Mark LeQuire; Daughter, Ruth Maxwell; Wife of 64 years, Iva Buchanan.
Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Gary & Corinna Buchanan; Son, Sandy Buchanan; Daughter, Rita Morton; Three Grandchildren; One Great-Grandchild.
