IRON RIVER-Preparations are being completed for the Golden Anniversary observance of Iron River Chapter 410 of the Order of Eastern Star, to be held Sept. 28.
An impressive ceremony was held Sept. 11, 1944. Nora Bengry Mark presented the chapter with a white ballot box in memory of her mother.

OBITUARY of Ray Bengry 1990 says Mathilda Bengry was his mother.

OBITUARY of William Bengry 1932 says his second marriage was to Mathilda Bengry of Haytons Bent England in 1890.

OBITUARY of Ada Brew 1931 says Mrs W.H. Bengry of Stambaugh is her mother. After Ada's 1894 birth in Ishpeming, her parents moved to Vulcan, and later to Gaastra, residing in the Baltic location.

INFORMATION FROM RELATIVE Sharon Dowd ([email protected]) says Matilda's maiden name is also Bengry. She married her first cousin William Herbert Bengry. William and Matilda's fathers were brothers.
