Johnnie M Phillips
Born Aug. 18, 1923 in Thornton, Arkansas, JOHNNIE CATHEY-PHILLIPS, 91, was greeted into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Jan. 4, 2015.
Johnnie was a loving mother, friend and neighbor and such a lady. She had a positive influence on anyone she met. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sherwood and volunteered at Baptist Springhill Hospital and the Hays Center for many years. Later in life, her friends at the Hays Center became her second family, she was there every day with a smile and positive attitude, willing to listen or talk. She loved her friends there and they loved her.
Johnnie was preceded in death by Rex Cathey and William Phillips.
She is survived by daughter, Melissa Cathey; son, James Williams; step-children, Ron Phillips, Millie Phillips, Elizabeth Krom, Joni Coyote and daughter of the heart, Carolyn K
Burial will be private
