Born Dec. 18, 1909, in Shelby County, he was the son of Albert and Emma (Roustrom) Leffler. He married Loretta Mae (Nordloh) Leffler on Aug. 17, 1929, and she survives.
Rev. Leffler was ordained as an Evangelical Methodist minister on Sept. 28, 1948, and retired in 1971. He served in churches in Martinsville, Columbus and Memphis, Tenn.
Other survivors include one sister, Louise Hester, Shelbyville; and niece, Martha Wetnight, Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Shelbyville Evangelical Methodist Church, with the Revs. John McDonald, Don Byrnes and Jim Coulston officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
