He was the son of the late Alfred C. and Reddie Ann Meddlin Babb. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Marshall Babb, Otis Babb and Guy Babb; one granddaughter, Stephanie Babb, and one grandson, Mark Allen Babb.

He was a retired carpenter having worked with Caudle Building for twenty-one years.

He was a member of Prayer Tabernacle Church.

Mr Babb was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

Funeral services for Mr. Alfred Junior Babb, 81, were conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2003 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home.

Private interment was conducted Friday, June 27, 2003 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
