Albert was the 3rd of 9 children born to Cicero and Martha A Messer Alston. On March 23, 1913 in Wood County, Texas he married Maude Jane Cain and they had 2 sons before divorcing sometime in the '30s. Albert moved to Arizona and lived out his life there, far from all his family in Texas.
