Jeffrey Price Feuquay, 65, Nevada, MO passed from this life on Monday, December 29, 2014 in Kansas City, MO following a brief illness. Jeffrey was born July 6, 1949 in Enid, OK to Neil Price Feuquay and Anne (Conner) Feuquay. He was united in marriage to Judith K. Young on June 18, 1983 in Littlerock, AR and she survives of the home.

Jeff graduated high school in Oklahoma City in 1967, served his Country as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy. Jeff was awarded his under graduate degree from University of Oklahoma, his Ph.D. from in psychology from the Oklahoma State University and his law degree from the Oklahoma City University. Jeff was a professor at Oklahoma State University, worked as an Assistant Administrator the State of Oklahoma Office of Personnel Management, and served as an international consultant representing Oklahoma State University with the World Bank and the Ministry of Education in Amman, Jordan. Jeff practiced law in Perry, OK, Guthrie, OK, and Nevada, MO. Jeff demonstrated his commitment to community through his service in Rotary Club, the Children’s Center and many other organizations and civic clubs. Jeff acted upon his strong faith in God by his work with the United Methodist Church in Nevada.

In addition to his wife Judy, his legacy will be passed on through his children, Christopher Feuquay and his wife Kim, The Woodlands, TX, Stephanie Gudgel and her husband Marshall, Tulsa, OK, and Trenton Young and his wife Tammy, Fort Smith, AR. Jeff and Judy have seven beautiful grandchildren, Madison, James, Coleman, Avery, Carly, Caroline, and Taylor; and several nieces, nephews, including his nephew Bryce Puntenny and his wife Jenny and son Crosby. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Cyndi Puntenny.

A Celebration of Life Service for Jeff will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Nevada with Rev. Linda Pagel officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
