James Franklin Beck, Sr.

James Franklin Beck, Sr., 63, of Sale City, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his daughter’s residence in Leesburg.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home. Rev. Ronald Barrett will officiate.

Born October 19, 1951 in Camilla, Mr. Beck was the son of the late Bobby Beck and Lettie Evelyn McCook Beck. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Nell Beck and a brother, Jerry Beck.

Survivors include two sons, Jamie Beck (Andrea) of Columbia, TN and Jerel Beck of Moultrie; two daughters, Tara Bauman (Richard) of Leesburg and Crystal Weldin (Kevin) of Wichita, KS; three brothers, Gene Beck, Lonnie Beck, and Oscar Beck; three sisters, Martha Grace Watson, Mary Chapman, Sheila Beck; ten grandchildren, Kayla Beck, Alyson Adams, Abby Adams, Dallas Parker, Haley Beck, Morgan Parker, Jesse Beck, Ethan Bauman, Maddox Madrigal, and Wyatt Weldin.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 6 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
