Funeral services for Jacob Spangler, 79, who died yesterday morning at his home at Mechanicsburg, from a stroke suffered less than a week ago, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home with Rev. G.R. Groninger, pastor of the Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Trindle Spring Cemetery.
He was a native of Silver Spring Township and had retired from farming. He was a member of the Trindle Spring Lutheran Church. Surviving are one sister (sic), Miss Agnes Spangler at home; a son-in-law, John Shumberger, and two nephews, Charles and Samuel Simmons.
