The funeral cost $305.00 and he was buried at Oakgrove Cemetery in LaCrosse on Mon the 20th of Sept, 1948 in Lot #2841, sec 43 which had been purchased by Nicolaus Schumacher (father of his wife Anna B SCHUMACHER). The funeral was charged to Mrs Leon Greenwood.
He is survived by one son, Arthur W.. LaCrosse; two daughters, Mrs Charles Mull and Mrs Leon J. Greenwood, both of LaCrosse, one brother, Jacob. Milwaukee; 2 sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Tillman, LaCrosse, and Mrs. Clarence Hyde, Butte Mont.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great Grandchildren.
