MECHANICSBURG -Memorial services were held today at St. Mark's Lutheran Church for William R. Ritter, 66, of 10 W. Maplewood Avenue, Mechanicsburg, who died Monday at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was the retired president of Ritter Hardware Co., Mechanicsburg, and American Hardware Supply Co., Butler. He was a director of Commonwealth National Bank, and chairman of the Mechanicsburg branch; a director of Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg; a member of Eureka Lodge 302, F&M, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Temple and the Cumberland County Historical Society.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Suzanne S. Ritter; a son, Jack, of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Molly Ritter Randolph, of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Paul E., of New Jersey; and three grandchildren.
Burial today was in Trindle Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Gale M. Gregor officiated at the memorial services. Memorial contributions can be made to Seidle Memorial Hospital.
