Patricia C. Burnett Welsh passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 22 at Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th St, Leawood, KS; followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30. Pat was born in Kansas City, MO on December 15, 1916 and was the only child of Carl and Alice E. Butts. She graduated from St Aloysius High School.

Pat married James J. Burnett in September 1936. Together they had 5 daughters. She was preceded in death by her first husband; a grandson; and three sons in-law. She married Bernard V. Welsh February 1972.

Pat leaves behind Gerry De Wilde Sears of Greenville, IN; Carol Brown Nease (Keith) of Olathe, KS; Mary Kay Bax (John) of Incline Village, NV; Teresa Ruggles (Charles) of Colorado Springs, CO; and Janice Siener (Jim) of Lenexa, KS. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6950 Squibb Rd # 310, Mission, KS 66202-3260.
