Funeral service for Lillie Mae Adams was conducted from the East Jenkins Church of God, Jenkins, Kentucky on Monday, November 30, 1998 at 11:00 a.m.
Officiating ministers were Rev. Wayne Maggard, Rev. Jerry Grubbs and Rev. David Grubbs and pallbearers were Grandsons and Grandsons-in-law.
Interment was in the Jenkins-Payne Gap Cemetery, Rt. 1, Jenkins, Kentucky with Polly & Craft Funeral Home of Jenkins, Kentucky in charge of arrangements.
Lillie Mae Adams, age 87, of Jenkins, passed from this life on Thursday, November 26, 1998, at the Jenkins Community Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Charles Robbins and Fairenda Smith Robbins, born August 30, 1911 in Breathitt County, Kentucky.
Her husband, Kelsey G. Adams preceded her in death on May 26, 1979; a son, Kelsey Ray Adams on July 12, 1979; two grandchildren, Michelle and Michael.
Survivors are four daughters, Delores Adams, Jenkins; Violetta Adams, Pikeville; Lorinda Grubbs, Lincoln Park, Michigan; Alice Mae Hall, Teaberry; a step-son, Robert Adams of Fleming-Neon; sixteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Compton, Letcher Manor, Whitesburg.
Lillie Mae became a member of the East Jenkins Church of God fifty years ago and served her Saviour faithfully.
