Jimmy Carrol Alford, Sr., 67, of Caddo Mills, Texas passed away on December 29, 2014 in Mesquite, Texas. He was born June 8, 1947 in Houston, Texas to R. J. and Mattie Anderson Alford.

He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Police Officer and spent 30 years in Law Enforcement and was on the police force in Bellaire before his death. He served in the U. S. Army.

He is survived by: Daughter: Tammy Akers; Sons: Jimmy Alford, Jr. (Cathy), Greg Alford (Joni) and Brian Alford; Grandchildren: Scott, Tonya, Donovan, Tristin, Arian, Press, Shalon, Taylor and Jeremy; Sisters: Janet Zamora and Sandy Hunter.

Jimmy was preceded in death by Parents, Brothers: Jerry Alford and Kenneth Alford; Sister: Barbara Lawrence.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Sam Houston Memorial Chapel in Huntsville, Texas. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.
