Gladys Aline Morgan, 79, passed away Monday, April 24, 2006, at a Temple hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 28 at Smith Cemetery in Purmela. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.. thursday, April 27, at the Scott's Funeral Home.

Aline was the daughter of the late Joseph Harve and Ellie (Veazey) Hale. On May 20, 1946, she married A.D. Morgan in Coryell County. She was a cook at a hospital for many years. Her passions were quilting, cooking and crossword puzzles. Aline was a longtime member of Levita Baptist Church.

Aline was preceded in death by a son, Larry Morgan; sister, Quillie Moore; and brother, Harvey Hale.

Survivors include husband, A.D. "Red" Morgan; sons, Gary and Randy Morgan; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth Beck, Betty Snider and Judy Freeman.
