Stephanie A. West, 25, a resident of oswego, died Wednesday at University Hospital in Syracuse, after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer. Miss West was born in Oswego and was a life resident. She was a graduate of Cayuga Community College, and was currently a student at SUNY-Oswego. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She is survived by a daughter, Skylar Wallace of Oswego; her parents, Donald and Mary Frances (Wallace) West of Oswego; a brother, Michael West of Oswego; her paternal grandparents, Donald and Katherine West of Oswego; her maternal grandparents, Frances and Mary Ellen Wallace of Oswego; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Theresa Wallace, who died in 2002. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 Monday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, and at 9:00 in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00pm Sunday, at the funeral home, 112 East Second St., Oswego. Contributions can be made to the St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund, or to the American Cancer Society.
