"Married, Monday evening at the residence of the officiating minister, Rev. H.J. Dixon, N.T. Brown, aged 23, and Miss Nettie Gabriel, aged 15, both of this place. The happy young couple will reside about three miles from the city."

"Nathan Thomas Brown
Funeral services for Nathan Thomas Brown, Pioneer Springer farmer who died at Supply Monday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Emmanuel Baptist church. The Rev. J.O. Gash will officiate and burial will be in the Pruitt cemetery east of Ardmore. A Duncan funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. J.J. Strickland, LaFeria, Texas; Mrs. Jack Fletcher, Ardmore; Mrs. Buster Barrick, Duncan; and Zola Brown, Ardmore; five sons, Otto, Joe and Swanie, Duncan; Aaron, Los Angeles, Cal,; and James, Norman; two brothers, Morton, Norman, and Joe Springer; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Lindsay, Ardmore; Mrs. George Elmore, Springer; and Mrs. Bessie Cooley, Wilson.

Pallbearers will be the nephews of the deceased.

Brown was 63 years of age. He was born in 1878 during Indian territory days and has lived in or around Ardmore his entire life."
