U,S. Army veteran, served during the Korean War.
He worked as a glasscutter for L.O.F. and also owned and operated Raether's Bar in Rossford up until its closing in 1987. Richard was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and for years with Cooley Canal Yacht Club where he loved boating and fishing on the water. He was a member of the Northwood VFW Post 2094 and the Rossford Eagles Aerie 2322.
Survived by his wife, 3 children, 5 grandchildren and brother.
