He was 83 and retired from the Department of Transportation with over 21 years of services.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2014 at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston beginning at 10:00am. Pastor Brad Delaughter will conduct funeral services at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Stafford Cemetery in Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years Mary Stafford, son, William Chandler and wife Chris, two step-sons, Clint Anderson and wife Gretchen and Chad Anderson, stepdaughter Joleen Weber and husband Wesley, thirteen grandchildren, Brandon, Dillon, Jason, Brooke, Brittany, Grace, Alexis, Hailey, Breanna, Ethan, Jace ,Gabriel and Kristy, great-grandson, Rhys, brother, Steven Stafford, sister, Oudrey Borskey, numerous nieces and nephews, and special niece, Shannon Guidroz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram Lodney and Lovicy Stafford, step-grandchild, Mary Ann McCarroll, and three brothers, Raymond, Bryant and Hiram Stafford.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family.
