Funeral services for Lois Ables Waller, 81 of Vidalia,LA will be held at Sycamore Baptist Church on Friday, January 02, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Glenn Waller and Bro. Richard Cullum officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Natchez, MS, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Sycamore Baptist Church from 10:00 AM til 1:00 PM, Friday, January 02, 2015.
Lois Waller was born on Tuesday, March 28, 1933 in Winnsboro, LA. and passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. She was a resident of Vidalia and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rutha Fredericks Ables; husband, Hershel Harrison Waller; son, Wayne Waller; sister, Jessie Wallace; and grandson, Geoffrey A. LaPrarie.
Survivors include daughter, Elaine and her husband Gerald LaPrarie Sr. of Dry Prong, LA; two sons, Glenn Waller and his wife, Relda, of Greenwood, MS and Gary Waller and his wife, Pam, of Vidalia, LA; two brothers, Benton Ables of Vidalia, LA and Charles Ables and his wife, Irene, of Ferriday, LA; five sisters, Norma Byrnes of Vidalia, LA; Katherine Ezell of Winnsboro, LA; Annie Swillie of Vidalia, LA; Mary Ann Smith and her husband, Miles, of Ferriday, LA; and Doris Free and her husband, Jay, of Vidalia, LA; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
