Leslie (Les) was a longtime cafe operator and rancher. Burial was in the Garden of Memories with the Rev. Frank Wilson, pastor of the Grace Baptist church officiating. He was born in Dawson county and have moved to Ballinger in 1964. He had operated cafes in Ballinger for a number of years and had also ranched in the area. He married Jean Gilbreth in Big Spring on December 9th, 1954. Survisors include his wife; two sons, Randall (Randy) Robinson of Ballinger and Jimmie Lee of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a daughter Marion Conaway and husband John of Ballinger; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ira Robinson of Lamesa; two sisters, Mrs. J.D. Harris and Mrs. M.S. Barton of Lamesa and two grandchildren Leslie Jean Conaway and John Walker Conaway both of Ballinger.
He was also survived by cousins Mr. and Mrs. Bill Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Robinson all of Lamesa, Texas

His great grandson John J Englehardt born and died 1993, is buried at the foot of his grave.

He loved his family and friends dearly, his life was cut short following a lengthy battle with cancer.
