Garnet L. Haire, 89, of Fort Wayne, died Wendsday Sept. 29, 2004, at Miller's Merry Manor, LaGrange. Born in Harlan, she was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and flowers. Survivorsinclude sons, Richard E Haire Sr. of Wolcottville and Gary L. Haire of North Port, Fla.; daughter, Linda S. Allen of Hutertown; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandshildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene C. Haire; five brothers; and four sisters. Serviceis 1 p.m. Saterday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
