INDEPENDENCE
James Dennis Wilson, 82, of Rt. 1,
Independence, died at his home
Friday, Oct. 7, 1966. Mr. Wilson
was born in Grayson County, July 10,1884,
to Nattie Wilson and wife,(Sarah Frances "Fannie" Redd Murry Wilson).
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.Linnie Carr Wilson, four daughters, Mrs. Lula Catron, Rt. 1, Independence, and Mrs. Esther Bowers, Mrs. Ruth
Mays and Mrs. Pearl Blankenship, all of Galax and a sister, Mrs. Belle Hill, Fries.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Summerfield Methodist Church by the Rev.
E.R. Allison, the Rev. Lonnle P. Shaw, the Rev. John Hackler and the Rev. Kyle Kinzer.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
