Margaret's maiden name was Cleary, her first husband's surname was Trusty, her second husband's surname Van Kirk
Daughter of William Cleary and Nancy Clarissa Mercer. She married William Wiley Trusty 20 Sep 1820 in White Co., Illinois. They were the parents of nine: William Henry, Edmond Finley, Thomas Delaney, Ambrose Greenburg, Isaac Rollins, Enoch Taylor, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Calvin Trusty.
Her husband William "Wiley" was killed in a mine accident in 1848.
Margaret then married Moses Van Kirk of Hazel Green, WI.
Her maiden name could also be spelled Clairy, Clarey, or Clary.
The old WPA survey lists her as Margaret Trusty. She was Van Kirk at the time of her death, and since she doesn't seem to be interred with her first husband, I believe her name is listed as correctly as possible, and pursuant to FAG guidelines. The headstone was clearly created by her children to reflect her name at that time.
