Richard James Woulfe, of Drumalaught, was born in 1761 at Cratloe. He married Johanna Relihan sometime before 1790 and they had at least 3 children there. He moved with his parents to County Kerry where the rest of his children were born. When his father James "The Barrister" died he and his son James took over the farm in 1837.
Richard and Johanna had at least 11 children.

Richard James of Drumalought WOLFE was born in 1764 in Cratloe, Co Limerick, Ireland. There is no record of bapt. at St Marys Church Listowel, per letter from priest. He was probably born in Co. Limerick. He was buried in 1841 in TempleAthea, Athea, Co Limerick, Ireland. Grave # 6 Templeathea death dates are in question. He died on 6 Jun 1842 in TempleAthea, Athea, Co Limerick, Ireland. He was the agent in charge of the property of the Knight of Kerry, this probably meant that he was the overseer for the Knight family in Kerry. (from History of Clinton Co). He lived at Garrianthanawallah in Kerry from the Templeathea book. Garrianthanawallah means "The garden of the old townland". Now know as "Tanavalla" and just behind town of Listowel. He was married to Johanna RELIHAN before 1800 in Co Kerry, Ireland, estimated from birth of James R.
