ANNOUNCE WEDDING OF MABLE JEFFERS AND F.W. KILLIUS
J.E. Jeffers, grand secretary of local chapter, Royal Arch Mason, and Mrs. Jeffers, 1205 West Lawrence avenue, announce the marriage of their daughter, Mable, to Frederick Killius, which took place at dusk, ***day evening at the Presbyterian church in Virginia, Rev. J.L. Jeffers pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Ashland, cousin of the bride, performing the ceremony.
Arthur L. Bise presided at the or** giving a brief recital and during the ceremony played "Love's Old Sweet Song".
The bride wore a gown of old blue *** crepe romaine and angel *** lace and her flowers were a corsage of sweetheart roses and orchid sweet peas. Her only jewelry was a strand of pearls and a brooch more than a hundred years old. As her going away outfit, the bride wore a blue rabbit's wool, fur framed with accessories of eel gray.
Mr. and Mrs. Killius left for Tennessee and the Carolinas on their wedding trip. After November 15, they will be at home at 1124 South Fourth street.
Mrs. Killius is an accomplished musician. She studied voice with *** Genevieve Clark Willson at the Springfield College of Music, and pipe organ at the Chicago Musical college. She is a niece of John L. Pickering, President of the Illinois Casualty Company.
Mr. Killius has been connected with the Tobin Jewelry store for the last twenty-five years, and also is a musician.
