Born in Elkton on February 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Martha Simpers Welch.
Along with her late husband, Frank, Mrs. Dvorak had operated a family farm near Elkton. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
A member of Immaculate Conception Church of Elkton, she also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, going out to dinner and traveling.
Survivors include her children: John E. Dvorak and wife, Linda, Roger D. Dvorak and wife, Glendora, all of Elkton, MD; Thomas J. Dvorak and wife, Debra, and Michael C. Dvorak and wife, Renee, all of Hiawassee, GA; and Debra L. Cooper and husband, Tom, Rocky Mount, VA; a sister, Mary Smith, Elkton, MD; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Dvorak was preceded in death by her son, Frank J. Dvorak, Jr. and brothers Louie and George Welch.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2015 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton where visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
