Silcox, Lewis Oscar--R.R. 2, Pioneer, passed away Tuesday morning, Lafollette Community Hospital. He was a member of Straight Fork Baptist Church and retired carpenter. Survivors: Sons: Arvil Silcox, Huntsville, Tennessee, Otis Silcox, Jacksboro, Tennessee, Floyd Silcox, Pioneer, Tennessee; daughters, Mrs. Glennis Brock, Jacksboro, Mrs. Charlene Catron, Michigan, Mrs. Helen Sue Webb, Dalton, Ga; brothers, Isaac Silcox, Polete Silcox; sister, Mrs. Allie Mae Byrd, all of Pioneer; 34 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren. Funeral 1 p.m. Friday, Straight Fork Baptist Church, Rev Edmond Lowe, Rev. Hobert Wells officiating. Interment in Silcox Cemetery. The body will be taken to his home 2 p. m. Thursday where friends will be received at their convenience, Martin's, Lafollette, is in charge of arrangements.
