Colleen Reeser, age 87, resident of Tonkawa, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, in Ponca City.

The Rosary service will occur at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, in the Chapel at Anderson Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tonkawa with Ben Lwin, father, officiating.

Burial will follow at a later date at IOOF Cemetery, Tonkawa.

Casket bearers will be Brad Trantham, Brady Trantham, Eric McClendon, Jesse Lopez, Blake Reed, Able Blakely, and Casey Richards.

Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home.

Colleen was born in Enid on Feb. 11, 1927, the daughter of Orville I. Haskins Sr. and Cornelia Hubbard Haskins.

She was raised in Jefferson, Okla., one of six children, graduating high school there in 1946.

Daniel E. Reeser became her husband on Sept. 5, 1951, with their marriage being blessed by six children.

She excelled at numerous pastimes. She was a free spirit and extraordinarily creative at sewing, cooking and tracing the family roots through her genealogy research.

A passion she shared with many was also her ability to draw and paint, winning awards including blue ribbons at the Kay County Fair.

Above all, Colleen loved her family, treasuring any occasion to gather with them.

Colleen was active in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, The St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Altar Society, the Kay County FCE and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her beloved children, Ellen Trantham; Mary Richards and husband Ron; Daniel Reeser; Robin Reeser; Randy Reeser; and Glenda Reeser.

She is also survived by grandchildren, Brad Trantham and wife Brandi; Leigh Prelesnick and husband Rick; Kasey Caplis and husband Paul; Kari Blakley and husband Able; Jessica Koster Reed and husband Blake; Eric McClendon and wife Valerie; and Jesse Lopez;

and by great-grandchildren, Brady Trantham, Brody Reed, Kady Reed, Charlotte Caplis, Marshall Caplis.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, parents and siblings, Fern Haskins, Gerald Clawson, Leland Clawson, Virgil Arnold and Orville I. Haskins Jr.
