Norris was employed by the Salem Community Hospital, in the Central Supply Department for 18 years. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed visiting with her family, and playing with her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Vernon F. Harless, and by her second husband Henry A. DeRienzo, whom she married August 25, 1945, on April 10, 1995.
Survivor’s include two sons, Michael (Linda) DeRienzo of Strongsville and David (Linda) DeRienzo of Salem; beloved niece Joan (Bob) Montgomery of Martinsville, Virginia; three grandchildren, Debbie (Jim) Gesler, Beth (Eric) Hill, and Jeff (Cindy) DeRienzo; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Preston, Walcie, and Winston Brooks; and two sisters, Hazel Witt and Arlene Brooks.
Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
