Annis M. Gentry age 85 of Parrottsville, passed away Friday December 26, 2014.

She was a retired nurse having worked for many years at Valentine Shults Hospital and Cocke County Baptist Hospital. She attended Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dent Gentry.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Weller and husband Rufus of Greeneville, son Rick Gentry of Parrottsville,and special friend Ruth Ann Poteete; grandchildren Tommy Weller and wife Julie, LuAnne Roberts and husband Jeremy, Richard Dent Gentry, Michelle Gentry, Terri Sue Weeks and husband Eric, great-grandchildren Macy Roberts, Meredith Roberts, Kimberlyn Gentry, Larissa Gentry, Tanner Gentry,and Aiden Weeks; sisters Jennie Lou Rader of Newport, Carol Thornton of Arkansas, Jeanette Blackwell of Newport, Gay Nell Wisecarver of Whitesburg, TN, also sister in law Margaret Mantooth of Sevierville.

Funeral services 7 pm Monday December 29, 2014 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Jeremy Roberts and Chad Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Monday prior to the funeral services. Burial will be 11 am Tuesday December 30, 2014 in Faubian Cemetery.
