It is known now that this Silas Wright never left Davidson County, NC. According to Davidson County Public Library genealogist, Silas would probably have been buried at the OLD Tom's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery along with Susan..
Back in the 1960's the property was sold to someone [no record has been found as to whom] who destroyed the cemetery, plowed up the headstones and took them to a disposal site [fancy word for dump]. It appears that the OLD Tom's Creek Cemetery no longer exists.
