Funeral services for Bert Youngblood of Minden were conducted this morning at 11 a.m. at the Rose-Neath Chapel.
Dr. Ronald Prince officiated. Burial followed in the Minden Cemetery.
Mr. Youngblood, a lifelong resident of Minden, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17 at Minden Medical Center after an extended illness. He was 86.
He was a member of the Sibley Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Eugenia Alford of Cotton Valley and Marion Karchefsky of Melbourne, Fla.; two sons, Blanchard Youngblood of Minden and Ted Youngblood of Shreveport; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
