MR. JAMES ESCHOL HARRELL, age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, December 28, at Fair Haven Baptist Church, with Rev. David Wilkins officiating, with interment in Fair Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Harrell was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member and former Sunday School Director, for over 15 years, of Fair Haven Baptist Church, a 1955 graduate of Rhine High School and a retired diesel mechanic for McCranie Tractor Company for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, was son of the late Rosa Lee Yancey Harrell & Lewis Wright Harrell, widower of Shelby Jean Harrell and was preceded in death by a Daughter – Janet H. Lee, Sister – Alice Harrell Burch and a Brother – William Wright Harrell.
Survivors: Son – Stanley L. Harrell of Rhine; 2 Grandchildren – Brooke Roberson (Josh) and Tyler Lee (Holly); 2 Great-Grandsons – Rhett Lee and Adam Roberson; Aunt – Mattie Will Parker of Orlando, FL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 6:00PM-8:00PM Saturday, December 27. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Integrity Hospice, 1101B Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021, or Gideons International.
