Died Wednesday, Oct 17, 1984, at 1:14 a.m. in Lynchburg General Hospital after a brief illness. He was husband of Velma Hart Wade.
Son of the late Sydney O. Wade and Myrtle Clayton Wade. He was a retired carpender and a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Minnie Wade of Roanoke; two daughters; Mrs. Gail Nix of Richmond and Mrs. Debbie McKinsey of Hopewell; one sister, Mrs. Janie Owen of Roanoke; two brothers; Charles Wade of South Boston and Thomas Wade of Altavista, and four grandchildren.
