Mary Albergotti Williams, 93, died Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Mrs. Williams was a lifetime resident of Columbia and the widow of John Herbert Williams. She was the daughter of the late William Greer and Beulah Argoe Albergotti of Columbia. She was the granddaughter of Andrew Durant Argoe, Lodoskie Sturkie Argoe, William Greer Albergotti and Mary Hutson Salley Albergotti, all of Orangeburg County. Mrs. Williams had retired from Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. She was a member of Shandon United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her brother William G. Albergotti Jr. of Anderson; nieces and nephews, Samuel F. Albergotti of Anderson; Raymond M. Albergotti of New York, N.Y.; Mary A. Bowman of Staunton, Va., and Paul M. Albergotti of Anderson; great-nieces and nephews, William Greer Albergotti III of Charleston, Martha F. Albergotti of Columbia, Claudia B. Albergotti and Gaston Albergotti, both of Anderson; Katherine Hamer Preston of Harrisonburg, Va., Charles Hamer of Waynesboro, Va.; a great-great-niece, Kailee Eldred of Harrisonburg, Va.; a great-great-nephew, Hunter Hamer of Waynesboro, Va.

A memorial service for Mrs. Williams will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010, at the chapel of the Shandon United Methodist Church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is in charge of services.
