Lot 559 in Elmwood Cemetery was purchased by Charles Barker when only child George died. The burial records of the known occupants seems to indicate the Lot had room for at least 5 graves. Only Graves 1, 2, & 5 are occupied.

If approximate spacing calculations are correct Lorenzo Charles Barker would have been buried immediately in front on the left side of the large stone in Grave 2. His wife Sarah J. "Jennie" Simkins Barker would be buried next to him in front on the right side of the large stone in Grave 1. The small gravestone of their son George Ezra Barker located at Grave 5 can be seen on the left. Son George also has his name on the large gravestone. It appears that his parents names were to be engraved on the large stone, but it never happened.
