Geneva Bridges Marcum age 82, of Huntsville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born July 5, 1932 in Elk Valley, Tennessee to the late Esley and Beulah Bates Bridges. She was a born again Christian at an early age and she was a Member of the St. Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Fred Marcum; (2) Daughters: Sandra Day and Barbara Lawson; (1) Sister: Ruby Cheney; (1) Great Grandchild: Michael Jordan Silcox; Step-Mother: Sylvia.

She is survived by her Son-in-law: James Day; Step-Son: Willie Baird; (2) Sisters Velma Lee Long and Lois Jones; Grand Children Freddie and Jennifer Day, Lucy and Daniel Cromwell, James "Festus" and Misty Day, Esley Day, Cecil and Aryin, Denise and William Henry, Junior and Rochelle Silcox, Lisa and Eugene Crabtree, Franklin Silcox; (21) Great Grandchildren: (6) Great Great Grandchildren: many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M., Saturday Afternoon, December 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. David "Blue" Day Officiating. Music will be provided by Jimmy Ray Lloyd and Cory Day. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Geneva Bridges Marcum.
