PAUL FREDERICK “PAPPY” O’DELL Frederick “Pappy” O’Dell, 96, of Lexington, MO died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Riverbend Heights Health and Rehabilitation , Lexington. Frederick O’Dell was born February 16, 1918 in Lexington, MO, the son of William Henry and Laura Jane Hoover O’Dell. Pappy was a welder for American Steel Works, from which he retired. He was of the Christian Faith. Pappy is survived by a nephew, Ron O’Dell, a niece, Janice M. Schall, and a great niece, Laura Schall. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jesse Russell “Buster” O’Dell and Ryland Wakefield O’Dell; sisters: Goldie William O’Dell Sweeney and Gladys Leola O’Dell. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO 64067 (660) 259-2245. Burial in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Memorials for Pappy may be made to The Friends of the Friendless or the charity of the donor’s choice.
