Mary Etta Clark Crabtree born on May 15, 1915, passed away on December 21, 2014 at the age of 99.

She moved from Wise County as a young child to Hall County where she lived for 30 years.

Mary married Jack Crabtree in 1949 and moved to Happy, Texas where they lived for 36 years. She lived in Hereford, Texas for 5 years before settling in San Antonio, Texas for 24 years.

Mary was a homemaker where she loved gardening, sewing and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed listening to country western music and being with her family.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James Ezra “Jack” Crabtree; infant child, Kathy Crabtree; parents, Robert Newton Clark and Mona Read Clark; sister, Eva Lena Kennard; brothers, J.W. Clark, Quilla Clark and W.O. Clark.

She is survived by her son, Steve Crabtree and wife Ederlinda Crabtree of Cypress, TX; daughter, Jackie Crabtree Bright with husband William Bryan Bright of San Antonio; brothers, Arthur Clark, Robert Clark; grandchildren, Stephanie Fangman Arredondo and husband Donato Arredondo III, Mary Kim Crabtree, James Douglas Crabtree; great grandchild, Damien Rhoads Arredondo.

A visitation will be held at the Schertz Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 5:00PM-7:00PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Peppers Family Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, Texas.
