Nida Irene Huckins, 94, longtime Guymon resident passed away early Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the Heritage Community Manor in Guymon.

Funeral services are pending and will be announced by the Bunch - Roberts Home of Guymon.

GUYMON, Okla. — Nida Huckins, 94, of Guymon died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bunch-Roberts Chapel with Pastor Tom Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Mrs. Huckins was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Oakwood to Ernest Carl and Nettie Ellen Wilson Marshall. She married Dean Huckins on April 27, 1940, in Watonga.

Survivors include a son, Vernon D. Huckins of Wichita, Kan.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Juanita Williams, Fern Newbill and Maxine Hort.

The family suggests memorials be to Panhandle Area Sheltered Workshop, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
