Son of William and Mary Smith Menser. He was married and a coal miner. Burial Clarion Cemetery on Feb. 22, 1924. Informant was his wife.

David Perry Menser, a well known resident of Clarion, died at his home on Greenville Avenue, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 1924, after a brief but painful illness of cancer. The deceased was born June 9, 1852 at Corsica, a son of William and Mary Menser. He was united in marriage with Miss Susanna Miller on Nov. 13, 1886 at Clarion and is survived by his wife and three children as follows: William Menser, near Clarion; Mrs. Lewis Williams, Clarion, and Mrs. Ralph Aaron, of Kingsville. One sister, Mrs. Frank Smith, and one brother, Joseph Menser, also survive. Mr. Menser was a member of the Corsica M. E. Church for many years. His funeral was held at his late home with Rev. Weston conducting the services and the interment.
