Judith Vivian Acker departed this life and received her angel wings on Monday, March 18, 2013.

Judith was born on April 23, 1944 in Mineola, Long Island, NY and lived most of her life in Staten Island, NY. Judith was a very special person and even though she had many disabilities her sweet smile and sunny disposition endeared her to everyone she met.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, John M. and Vivian Acker. She leaves to mourn her passing her brother, John M. Acker and his wife, Marilyn; her nieces, Susan Acker-Walsh and her partner, Tina, Laura Scribellito and her husband, David, and Nancy Cagno and her husband, Paul great-niece, Lily Cagno; and great-nephews, Aidan Acker-Walsh and Lucas Cagno.

The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Judy's caregivers at the Poillon Avenue home who were her family also and who have taken such tender loving care of Judy for many years.

Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home, Staten Island, NY.
