Survivors: her Husband, Richard Alan Brooking; four children; Lara Brooking Fitgerald, John Walter Draughon the 3rd, Philip Draughon, Patricia Lynn Brooking Bruce; four sisters, Georgia Cozell Phelps, Joyce Annez Edwards, Donna Jean McCormick and Deborah Elaine Patterson, and onw brother Paul David Wilson.
She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Robert Bruce.
The funeral was held Monday, June 7 at the Trevino Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, TX with Deacon Ray Ahlers officiating. Burial was June 26 in Spring Hill Cemetery.
